Jason Schanne is best known as the longtime partner of Bruno Tonioli, the choreographer and television judge familiar to viewers of Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars. Us Weekly reports that their relationship began in 2010 and that they held a commitment ceremony two years later. However, Schanne’s own life has received considerably less coverage than his partner’s television career.
That limited coverage explains why readers often search for details about his age, work, and finances. Established publications describe him as a model, but they provide relatively little information about his professional history. Understanding his story means distinguishing reported details from claims that have not been reliably verified, particularly when discussing his background or personal wealth.
Who Is Jason Schanne?
Jason Schanne is a private individual whose public recognition largely comes from his relationship with Tonioli. Us Weekly identifies him as the television personality’s partner, while entertainment reports describe his occupation as modelling. These are the clearest recurring details in established coverage. There is much less substantial reporting about his everyday activities, independent projects, or career milestones.
Being connected to a celebrity does not necessarily mean maintaining a celebrity career. In Schanne’s case, the available reporting concentrates on his relationship rather than interviews or professional announcements. Readers should therefore be careful with profiles that present a complete life story without explaining where their information came from. A detailed biography can sound convincing while still containing unsupported claims
His occasional appearances with Tonioli have contributed to public interest. Geo News reports that the pair attended the London premiere of Mary Poppins Returns together in 2018. That offers a specific example of their public life, but it does not establish that Schanne works in film or television. Attending an entertainment event and having a professional role in that industry are separate things.
Jason Schanne Age and Background
Jason Schanne’s reported date of birth is 5 August 1986, according to PinkNews. If that date is accurate, he is 40 years old as of October 2026. Geo News also gives his birth year as 1986, although it does not supply the exact day and month. The birthday should therefore be described as reported information rather than a detail independently confirmed through a direct statement from Schanne.
Coverage sometimes highlights the couple’s age difference. Tonioli was born on 25 November 1955, according to Us Weekly. Using those reported dates, Tonioli is approximately 30 years and eight months older than Schanne, commonly rounded to a 31-year gap. Articles mentioning their ages should include a date reference because older profiles naturally contain figures that are no longer current.
PinkNews also reports that Schanne previously lived in Michigan, United States. That connection should not automatically be treated as proof of his birthplace or nationality. The sources reviewed do not provide a well-documented account of his childhood, education, parents, or siblings. Those gaps are worth acknowledging rather than filling with details copied from loosely sourced celebrity biographies.
Jason Schanne and Bruno Tonioli’s Relationship
The best-supported relationship timeline begins in 2010. Both Us Weekly and Geo News give that year, and Heart’s March 2025 profile also places the beginning of their relationship in 2010. For readers checking the basic facts, Us Weekly’s Bruno Tonioli profile identifies Schanne as his partner and records their 2012 commitment ceremony.
The ceremony is one of the most frequently reported milestones in their relationship. Geo News names Perez Hilton and figure skater Johnny Weir among the celebrity guests. However, a reported commitment ceremony should not be presented as confirmation of a legal marriage. Heart’s 2025 coverage says the couple are not believed to be married, making “longtime partner” the more accurate description supported by these sources.
There is a small inconsistency in older coverage: Heart’s 2019 article gives 2000 as the starting year, while its later profile says 2010. The later date agrees with the other established publications reviewed. This is a useful reminder that even familiar outlets can contain conflicting details, and that repeated agreement across sources helps establish the better-supported account.
The sources also describe a relationship largely kept away from publicity. Their reports should not be stretched into claims about how the couple first met, their daily routines, or their current private arrangements. Historical coverage establishes a publicly reported partnership; it does not provide continuous confirmation of every aspect of their lives.
Jason Schanne Net Worth and Modelling Career
There is no reliably verified figure for Jason Schanne net worth in the established sources reviewed. Online estimates should be treated cautiously when they do not explain their calculations or identify credible financial evidence. Tonioli’s reported earnings, property values, or estimated wealth cannot be used to calculate Schanne’s personal finances. Each person’s assets and income require separate evidence.
Geo News and Heart describe Schanne as a model, but their coverage does not establish a detailed portfolio of campaigns, agency representation, or modelling contracts. It is reasonable to report the occupation with attribution. It would be less reliable to add claims about major fashion clients, international success, or specific earnings without supporting documentation.
Similarly, the reviewed coverage does not establish that Schanne is an entrepreneur, investor, or regular television performer. Those labels should not be added simply to make a biography sound fuller. Readers looking for his professional background are better served by a clear statement of what is known than by an impressive career history that cannot be checked.
Conclusion and FAQs
Jason Schanne’s public story centres on his reported modelling work and longstanding relationship with Bruno Tonioli. Established coverage places their relationship’s beginning in 2010 and their commitment ceremony in 2012. Beyond those details, much of his personal and professional background remains undocumented in the sources reviewed.
For anyone researching his age or net worth, the distinction is straightforward: his birth date has been reported by an established publication, while a credible personal wealth estimate remains unavailable. Keeping that distinction clear produces a more useful biography and avoids turning speculation into fact.
